Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993, and the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary research into the study of memories of eyewitnesses and children's victimes as witness in court contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded several awards and grants. She has consulted with various nations and organizations around the world on policies as well as the study of child abuse in the justice system. She currently serves as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center located at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is also a fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
